Setup
- 28 articulated flies: the candidate, Worshipful Master, both Wardens, both Deacons, two Stewards, Secretary, Treasurer, Chaplain, Tyler, three ruffians, a sea captain and twelve fellow crafts.
- A cutaway lodge with officer stations, chairs, rods, aprons, altar, Bible, square and compasses, candles, pillars and a checkered floor.
- One seekable timeline lasting 18:17 at 1x; speeds from 0.25x to 4x.
- Five cameras: lodge, East, floor plan, following candidate and grave. Optional spoken cues and role labels.
Measurement
- Play ceremony starts live retinal acquisition: each window captures the canonical eye image and advances the model by ten 20 ms steps with retinal input only.
- Measure this view pauses the ceremony and records three identical retinal frames with seed 237, paired with a disconnected control. Full trials persist in SQLite.
- Movement and narration are pre-programmed, independent of the measured readouts.
Limitations
- Condensed wording, accelerated timing, illustrative room proportions and gestures modified for six legs; not an exact-duration or verbatim ritual.
- Not a claim that all jurisdictions follow Duncan.
- The legend of Hiram Abiff uses programmed object motion, a canvas and a symbolic fall.
