The fly takes the candidate's role in a circa-1912 historical endowment visit, moving from preparation and initiatory rites through the live presentation, prayer circle and veil to the Celestial Room.

Setup

  • 75 seekable stages over 16 minutes 10 seconds, with 20 supporting flies.
  • Rooms are unfolded for inspection, with a stair from Garden to World and the Celestial Room behind the veil.
  • Seven cameras (room, subject, officiants, token contact, veil, unfolded plan, first person) plus a holographic explanation camera.
  • Optional viewport-only holographic diagrams explain all 75 stages. The sequence is silent, with original short summaries of the stages.

Measurement

  • Only sampled retina reaches the fixed connectome, through the existing live-retina path.
  • Prayer, assent, gestures, clothing changes and participant decisions are pre-programmed.
  • Holograms and wall cutaways render only in the human viewport; canonical retina retains the enclosed rooms.

Limitations

  • A historical reconstruction, not a fully authenticated start-to-finish 1912 ceremony. Some sequences follow a later composite account whose application to 1912 is uncertain.
  • Rooms, dimensions, furnishings, clothing and walking paths are approximations, not a surveyed floor plan; original murals are not reproduced.
  • Fly tarsi cannot reproduce human hand contacts. Signs and tokens are programmed approximations, summarized rather than spoken.
