The fly films a purported "1947" autopsy reel of a draped cast figure; the camera then pulls back to reveal the 1995 plywood set built inside a London flat.

Recording pending publication. Follow along for the release.

Setup

  • Nine cues over 126 seconds: six for the "1947" footage (leader, room, suited examiners, examination, loss of focus, cut) and three for the reveal (pull-back, crew, the 2006 "restoration").
  • Two examiners in white hooded suits and a masked observer behind a glass window; the body is a simplified, sheet-draped cast figure.
  • Controls: a viewport-only "1947" film look, a sheet over the figure and viewport captions.

Measurement

  • Retinal input only. The retina always receives the unfiltered scene, without the black-and-white film look.
  • Fly movement and camera work are pre-programmed.

Limitations

  • The 1995 film was produced on a constructed set with a cast figure; the activity makes no claim of an actual alien.
  • Non-graphic: nothing is cut on screen.
