README
Antennal Mechanics Bench
experimentNo. 0006categoryLabs & sensesrecordingpendingdataCC BY 4.0
Slow auditory envelopes or wind displacement are applied to annotated antennal afferents of the fly, and downstream responses are measured against a disconnected control.

Recording pending publication. Follow along for the release.
Setup
- Two flanking sound sources stand on either side of the fly.
- Channels: antennal auditory input and antennal wind/gravity input.
- Side both, left or right; amplitude 0–1.2; cameras Arena, Fly, Plan, Stimulus.
Measurement
- Normalized positive drive to the annotated mechanosensory auditory or wind_gravity afferents.
- Paired stimulus and disconnected branches with the same seed, recorded in 100 ms population bins.
Limitations
- The 20 ms model step does not resolve an audio carrier; only a slow sound envelope is delivered.
- Wind is a normalized displacement proxy, not calibrated antennal mechanics.
